A new era has started for me. I have reentered the realm of junior high track meets. Which is a very exciting thing, and also a little bit apprehensive, probably more for me than Cassidy. She has done very well in her events, so far getting better marks each time, which will no doubt get a whole lot better, once she gets the spins down too. The older kids all were jumpers and runners, for the most part. Cassidy throws the discus and shot put ( as Kaleia did for a short time). I do not know anything about either one of those, really. Which I am sure if you ask the others, they will tell you might be a plus for Cassidy, as I can't "coach" her. But, I am a fast learner! ;)
Cassidy throwing the shot at Benkelman today. Her best throw was 21' 2", which isn't too bad for being a seventh grader power throwing. 
Here she is at Grant on a very cold and soon to be storming day. I believe she threw 19feet something.
At Benkelman, Mr Wilson let her run the 400 meter relay run also. They placed fourth.
